A public meeting was held at the Dorothy Day house with speaker Sil Caggiano former YFD battalion chief and HazMat expert presenting how the chemical burn after the train derailment in East Palestine is similar to the toxics that could be emitted by SOBE. Anton Kreiger, of Buckeye Environmental Network elaborated on how they can help us. Tom Hetrick, President of Youngstown City Council elaborated on the zoning opinion that SOBE is not permitted to be an industry in this Mixed Use Community zone. We planned to print these petition letters and begin to get signatures from residents.
