SOBE Concerned Citizens attends ALTA Head Start Recruitment Fair

SOBE Concerned Citizens tabled at the ALTA Head Start Recruitment Fair on July 10, 2025 at the Covelli Center parking lot. Organizations from Mahoning and Trumbull counties attended to provide head start parents and children with resources and snacks.


SCC community organizer, Kayshia Washington, was photoed talking to a head start parent about SCC work. Many attendees stopped by our table inquiring about our organization. Many attendees signed up for our email list and learned about our upcoming public town hall meeting on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Eugenia Atkinson Recreation Center.
