This February SOBE Concerned Citizens is looking back on events of a year ago: Despite efforts of federal EPA directing OH EPA to revise the proposed draft permit of SOBE pyrolysis plans in downtown Youngstown, Ohio (which can be read here LETTER FROM US EPA TO OH EPA [PDF FILE]), Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) issued "final permit" to SOBE February 14, 2024 and it does not take US EPA recommendations on Environmental Justice into account: Read AIR POLLUTION PERMIT (PDF FILE) The permit is valid for ten years.
